The "Old House Cafe Ichiyou" is a renovation of a 100-year-old house.
When opening door, there was a traditional Japanese style room, but with a chandelier, a blend of Japanese and Western style.

Old houses are nostalgic for the elderly and new for the young.

The major problem is the depletion of local financial resources. Without a budget for the community, any kinds of events and gatherings cannot be held.

There were elderly people living alone who could not afford to buy paid garbage bags.

After thinking of ways to generate money for the community, they came up with a project to put advertisements on garbage stations, which are familiar to them.

"It's important to be flexible in everything, and running a café is one way to contribute to the community."

The experience at MICHISHIRUBE is based on the experience of remaking an old house.
